NO FOOT NO HORSE - a simple, but often-misunderstood concept. Some horses can live and perform very well barefoot. Some horses need shoes in order to perform their job comfortably and safely. Our service is about giving your horses the optimal hoof care needed, to do whatever you require of them as best they can, according to their individual confirmation and athletic ability. Blackburn Forge delivers comprehensive HIGH AVAILABILITY farrier services for competition and sport horses in most riding disciplines including Hunter, Jumper, Eventing, Dressage, Reining, Competitive Trail / Endurance, Roping, Barrel Racing, Polo, and Carriage Driving. In addition we provide advanced therapeutic farriery and consulting services for most lameness problems. What about those "Pasture Potatoes?" Even if your horse is just a family pet, we can improve its quality of life. Why not have a pampered pasture potato? If your horse is not performing at its athletic potential or has a lameness that is not improving, we may be able to help you directly or by referral to a specialist within our professional network.
